Ross Ranch was established in May 2019, and is located at 5041 Notre Dame Ave, Hanmer, Ontario. It is situated on a beautiful 14 acre lot surrounded by a plethora of riding trails, owned and operated by Chanelle & Kyle Ross. Chanelle, and her husband, Kyle, and children Sadie and Emerson, live at Ross Ranch, along with their 2 dogs, 4 cats and 4 horses. Chanelle and Kyle are meticulous about the care of their property as you will see the pride and ownership that goes into it. There are 4 large turnout paddocks, a meticulously kept 6 stall barn, and a tack & feed room, where each boarder has a designated locker. The 100'x200' outdoor arena can be enjoyed 365 days a year, allowing for a natural setting, welcoming English and Western riders of all ages. Chanelle & Kyle envision an indoor arena in their future, but changes and improvements are always occurring on the ranch to better serve their boarders and horses. When you come to Ross Ranch you are treated like family, as much care and enthusiasm goes into their business, boarders, and care of the horses. The property has ample parking near the barn, where you can catch Kyle, driving around on his tractor getting the round bales out, Chanelle doing barn chores with the kids, or run into the meet & greet committee, Smudge & Baby, the barn cats.
Chanelle Ross has had a passion for horses for as long as she can remember. She is a western rider, participated in gaming, roping, and is a breeder of APHA and AQHA. Chanelle and her husband Kyle own and operate Ross Ranch, a boarding facility, located minutes from the core of Hanmer. Chanelle is knowledgeable with equine nutrition, and certified in Equine First Aid. One day Chanelle would like to get back into competitive riding again.
